Java acid which has the Latin name Tamarindus indica is a tropical plant belonging to plant fruiting pods. Tamarind tree trunk are very solid and hard and the tree can grow into very large and shady.
Acid plant flowers java colored fruit reddish yellow with brown and taste sour fruit. Tamarind seeds are encased in flesh. The number of seeds in one pod between 2-5 flat and blackish brown. For traditional societies, tamarind has long been used for various purposes including for the miraculous cure of diseases such as: asthma, rheumatism, cough, abdominal pain, fever, allergies, fever, mouth sores, boils, eczema, hair loss etc.
